Acupuncture is an effective treatment for so many illnesses, because it goes beyond treating a single diagnosis. Acupuncture strengthens the body's innate healing ability and addresses the root cause of any given illness. The body returns to its natural ability to improve immune function, benefit circulation, calm the nervous system, clear the mind from negative thought patterns, and create new pathways for wellness.

Acupuncture works by removing blocks along the body’s energetic pathways and stimulating free flow of Qi, the energetic life force coursing through the body. There are many styles of acupuncture - at Lust for Life, we practice a blend of 5 Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. Five Element Acupuncture recognizes that the same movements occurring in the seasons, nature, and the divine cosmos operate within our bodies. By bringing the 5 Elements and their representative organ systems into harmony, we guide the body to optimal functioning.

Your session begins with a brief consultation, followed by a relaxing treatment tailored to your needs. Most people rest comfortably during treatment and leave feeling calm and refreshed.

Sessions are typically 60 minutes. We accept insurance and are here to make the process simple and stress-free—just contact us for pricing and benefit information.
