Laura Koontz

Hi! I’m Laura Koontz, RMP. I’ve been a massage therapist for *almost* 15 years! I graduated from The Central Maryland School of Massage in Frederick, MD in 2011. Since then, I have taken several continuing education courses. Throughout those courses, I have been able to find the specialties that I connect with the most. Migraine relief massage, massage for TMJ disorders, sciatic and IT band massage, prenatal/postnatal massage are just a handful of the massage courses I have invested time in learning and getting continued certifications in.

Along with those specialities, I do have a number of other offerings including CBD, hot stone, essential oils, and facial stone massage. I truly believe massage therapy is so essential in connecting our physical and mental well being and it has been my calling for the last decade and a half to help others do that. I’m excited to meet you and help be apart of your wellness journey!

Danielle Oliveri

Danielle is a licensed massage therapist and the owner of Bod-D-Well Massage, specializing in targeted, therapeutic bodywork designed to relieve pain, improve mobility, and restore balance. She completed her training at the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Westport, CT from 1999–2001, where she built a strong foundation in anatomy, technique, and results-driven care. After relocating, she became licensed in Maryland in 2018 and continues to refine her approach through hands-on experience and advanced techniques. Danielle’s work focuses on addressing the root cause of tension rather than just surface-level relaxation. Each session is customized and may include muscle scraping (IASTM), cupping, and hot stones—integrated seamlessly at no additional cost.  Known for her intuitive touch and therapeutic focus, Danielle works with clients dealing with chronic tightness, injury recovery, and everyday physical stress, helping them feel better and move more freely.

Karen Hunter-Dixon

Karen  is a 1994 graduate of the Baltimore School of Massage, a 2008 graduate of the Academy of Lympathic Studies. Karen’s basic education with the school included Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial techniques.

Karen’s continued education in the field of massage therapy also includes training in Pre and Post Preganacy Massage, Cancer and Mastectomy Massage, Integrative Reflexology, and Cranio-sacral Therapy.

Karen is also a Reiki Master. She has daytime and evening office hours at Healing House on Thursdays. The massage session is based on client’s needs and uses a blend of techniques to assist the client in their own healing process.  Massage can help to facilitate movement in restricted joints as well as in painful or tight muscles.  Massage increases circulation, helping rid the body of toxins and excess fluids.  Most importantly, massage promotes a relaxation response that guides the body to eliminate old holding patterns and pain, while creating new pathways of movement and ease.

Patricia Lappin

Patricia is a Reiki Master Level Practitioner and Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 30 years of experience. Her passion is to show that a cognitive, mindfulness-based approach to emotional healing can be a gentle, loving process of returning to one’s own inner peace and calm. Her approach to Energy Work is rooted in the understanding that emotional distress, such as anxiety, stress, overwhelm and trauma related symptoms often manifests as energetic blockages within the physical body as well as maladaptive behaviors in the sense that there can be more reactivity vs responsivity to life’s circumstances or situations.

Patricia works with clients to "reset" their nervous systems. She uses a gentle, non-verbal approach that allows clients to process difficult emotions without needing to re-live traumatic experiences. During her sessions, Patricia uses hand placements on or above the body to help the

client let go of suppressed emotions thereby promoting the release of stored emotional energies and tension. She strives to provide a nurturing, non-judgmental atmosphere where clients can experience a deep sense of safety, allowing emotional release to occur naturally and to afford the opportunity to learn skills and practices that empower clients to manage their own emotional state of being with a more mindful based approach.

She can be reached by email at patricialappinbcba@gmail.com
